Fangs Vet Surgery provides a dedicated mobile surgical referral service for veterinary clinics across the central and lower North Island. Our goal is to deliver advanced orthopaedic and soft tissue surgical solutions within your clinic, ensuring excellent client service and satisfaction while allowing you to maintain patient care and continuity. Most clients prefer treatment close to home by veterinarians they already trust. Our mobile referral model strengthens the clinic–client relationship while providing access to advanced-level surgery without the overhead of owning and maintaining specialised equipment.

Surgical fees are structured to be fair and transparent, supporting clinics in delivering high-quality care while boosting revenue and maintaining client loyalty. Routine surgeries are offered at a recommended fixed price, while complex procedures (such as fracture repairs) are provided within a cost range, depending on implant choice and intra-operative requirements. Fees can be discussed directly with clients on the day of surgery or communicated through your clinic. Flexible charging models can also be tailored in consultation with each clinic.

Outstanding surgical outcomes depend on clear communication and proactive case management. We emphasise discussing prognosis, potential complications, and realistic expectations upfront. Even in challenging cases where full recovery may not be possible, we aim to maximise patient quality of life and provide professional, supportive service to both the clinic and the client.

Access

Fangs Vet Surgery offers pre-operative advice and case planning support for referring veterinarians. We also provide ongoing guidance for cases with delayed recovery, complications, or progressive disease. Radiographs and case discussions are welcomed on an informal basis—free of charge, to assist your team with decision-making and case selection.

We provide flexible levels of service to suit your clinic’s needs—from full referral consultations with client management through to surgery-only services carried out within your practice. Whether you prefer to remain the main client contact or delegate full case communication, our team will support you every step of the way to achieve the best outcomes for your patients and clients.
